Cabo Villas is located right on Medano Beach between the new Hacienda Residences and the Casa Dorada Medano Beach Resort, and just a block from the marina. Luxury villas with views of the bay and the Land's End rock formations. Each unit is air conditioned with a kitchen and a balcony or terrace. It’s very close to downtown, restaurants, shopping, watersports, fishing and other activities.
There are three main buildings here. The one-bedroom Deluxe Suites are similar in each building, but the larger Executive, Luxury and two-bedroom suites are different.
The original building is at the top of the resort, up the hill a bit form the beach. Most of the one-bedroom Deluxe Suites have a fairly good view of the ocean, except the first floor.
The larger one-bedroom Executive Suites have a great view of the ocean as they are on the beach end of the resort. These suites all went through a major remodeling recently, so the interior is every bit as modern and comfortable as the newer rooms.
There are two newer buildings, building one and building two. Building one is the lower building. The top three floors are what are called “ocean view” rooms. Floors 2 and 3 are called “pool view” rooms, and the first floor is actually located blow the pool level, so even though you still get a patio area, there is no view of the ocean at all. There are also somerooms that are on the beach end of this building that have great views on all floors. The two bedroom Luxury Suites are on or near this end of the building.
Building two is tucked behind Building one. There are several one-bedroom Luxury Suites in this building. These are the suites with the hot-tub on the balcony. Some of these rooms have an ocean view, but most are pool-view rooms. The pool-view rooms overlook the resorts second pool and there is no longer a view of the ocean since they built the new Hacienda Resort next door. But, the Luxury Suites are very nice sized room and are very private.
The Baja Cantina is the restaurant right on the beach in front of Cabo Villas. Great Food and Drinks. It’s usually pretty mellow here but they do have some musical events, also. At the top of Building two is the Baja Brewery. The high-end Edith’s restaurant is located next to the side entrance of the resort, and The Office is very close on the beach.
Occasionally at Cabo Villas they have an all-inclusive package that just covers drinks for a very reasonable price. Ask about it when you check in.
